Hill Group is pleased to share our initial vision for a new sustainable, community-led development on land at Cambridge Road.
Hill have an interest on a strategic site to the east of Cambridge Road that we will be promoting for inclusion in the emerging Greater Cambridge Local Plan. This site has the potential to deliver a new village heart with improved community and recreational facilities. It can also deliver new affordable and family homes for the village.
We want to work collaboratively with residents and businesses in Hardwick to design a scheme that responds to the needs of everyone in the village.

A Community Led Project
The site at Cambridge Road is being promoted for mixed-use sustainable development as part of the emerging Greater Cambridge Local Plan.
This means that we are preparing a vision for the site that we will submit to the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service when they publish the next draft of their Local Plan later this year. We are at the very beginning of the planning process, and we are keen to work with residents and businesses in Hardwick when developing our vision.
The project is being led by the Hill Group in partnership with the landowner, Chivers Farms Ltd. Hill has delivered many award-winning housing developments and has been active in Hardwick for a number of years. Chivers Farms Ltd are a family led company with strong roots in Cambridgeshire. Together, Hill and Chivers share a strong commitment to delivering a successful, sustainable place that leaves a positive legacy for future generations.
